Tests and Assessments
During your initial weight loss visit with Bethany, test and assessments are performed to better plan the appropriate steps to help you achieve your weight loss goal. Being overweight can increase your likelihood of having diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, arthritis, cancer and strokes. Our medical professionals begin with screening for such problems.
Tests and assessments are covered by most insurance plans and filed by Bethany Medical as a courtesy to you. You are, however, responsible for any rendered services not covered by insurance.
Customized Weight Loss Plans
Our Weight Loss providers work with patients to develop a personalized weight loss plan that will include diet, exercise, and any medications. Remember that medications are only one part of a successful weight loss plan and should be taken exactly as directed.
Weight Loss Clinic Screening and Tests Include:
- Spirometry test
- Chest x-ray
- Laboratory work
- Electrocardiogram
